Document Services Asssistant - 12 month fixed contract - ideally stating in December Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00AM to 6.000 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break (40 hours per week). On site 5 days a week. The job of the document services assistant is to supply all aspects document solutions and support to the our client on their site. This includes printing, copying, scanning, finishing, digital creation (such as making up HDDs, bibles or USBs) and digital manipulation (such as digitally altering documents to add/remove pages, make a document searchable or to amalgamate multiple docs into one, or to split one into many). The role also encompasses overseeing all postal requirements for the client. This involves digitising any and all incoming items that arrive into the building, maintaining a strict schedule of internal post rounds and logging/franking/sending all outgoing mail. On top of this, the DS assistant role covers the management of the client's courier needs and you willalso be responsible for ensuring all MFDs are stocked with consumables (paper/toners/staples etc) and in good working order, performing first line maintenance if necessary.
