In this dynamic role, you will bring your expertise in resident involvement to PA, helping to ensure residents are actively engaged and have a voice in shaping and scrutinising the services that impact their lives. You’ll work closely with an inspiring team, providing guidance and turning resident feedback into meaningful actions that drive real change.

Your responsibilities...
* Support the Resident Involvement Manager in delivering a bold and ambitious Resident Strategy, ensuring residents are at the heart of decision-making.
* Be a champion of resident feedback using your deep knowledge of regulatory standards and legislation to shape the way we listen to and engage with residents.
* Work collaboratively to keep the team performing at its best, constantly looking for innovative ways to improve and deliver better services for residents.
* Lead and deliver exciting resident involvement initiatives, such as Service Improvement Panels (SIPs) and Youth Groups, ensuring that decisions are driven by what matters most to residents.
* Drive innovation in resident engagement by supporting the development of digital platforms that make it easier for residents to get involved and share their views.
* Provide a range of engaging activities to meet the diverse needs of our residents and ensure we’re hearing from a truly representative group.
* Support residents with the tools and training they need to actively and constructively participate in shaping services, ensuring they feel supported and confident.
* Maintain and manage our resident involvement database, ensuring we track feedback and actions effectively.
* Work closely with the Customer Services Directorate to deliver high-quality events that contribute to building thriving neighbourhoods and exceeding customer expectations.
* Collaborate with the Neighbourhood Team to align your work with local engagement efforts and ensure we’re consistently meeting resident needs.
* Partner with the Communications Team to share the exciting changes driven by resident feedback, both internally and externally.
* Use your expertise to mentor colleagues and guide them in implementing resident-driven service improvements, ensuring residents have a real impact on how services are delivered.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the team’s work is recognised and valued across the organisation.
* Manage the Resident Involvement budget with care, ensuring we deliver maximum value for money in all areas.
* Be a creative problem-solver, constantly looking for new and exciting ways to make a positive impact and challenge the status quo.

Our ideal candidate...
* CIH Professional Qualification (or equivalent), or a desire to work towards one (Desirable).
* A deep passion for resident involvement, with significant experience in engaging and empowering residents to shape the services that matter most to them.
* Proven experience in working with diverse groups of Involved Residents, understanding their unique needs and creating tailored engagement opportunities.
* A solid understanding of the social housing sector, including its challenges and opportunities, and the ability to navigate this environment with insight and confidence.
* A track record of providing meaningful opportunities for residents, customers, and stakeholders to influence service delivery, ensuring their voices have real impact.
* Proficient in using housing management IT systems to manage and analyse resident feedback and engagement data, helping to inform decisions and improve services.
* A creative approach to engaging with residents through both traditional and digital channels, making sure everyone has a voice and is heard.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex or sensitive information clearly, confidently, and with empathy to a wide range of audiences.
* Strong analytical skills, able to extract actionable insights from conversations with residents and turn these into real service improvements.
* Experience working in a customer-focused, performance-driven environment, ideally within the housing, voluntary, or private sector, with a passion for delivering outstanding results and creating positive change.

Disclosure and Barring Service:
This role of requires the successful candidate to complete a basic DBS check. A basic DBS check will show any unspent convictions.
So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.
Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action, if any, have you have taken since your conviction. Suitable references will also need to be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
