We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager and a Deputy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires effective communication with staff, children, and parents, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for all children in our care. Duties Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive working environment. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community. Ensure that all staff are trained in safeguarding policies and procedures. Recruiting employees and providing ongoing training in best care practices Developing and maintaining the nursery budget Arranging marketing materials/ideas Monitoring the condition of the facility and equipment and organising maintenance, repairs and new items as required Updating parents and Carers about their childs progress and behaviour Answering enquiries about enrolment, payments and practices Developing and implementing an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities Preparing the nursery for Ofsted inspections and following inspector recommendations Experience Proven experience in childcare settings, ideally within a nursery environment. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare management are advantageous.
