The role is available to start ASAP, offering full time hours a week for an initial period of 3 months. Location: Epsom, Surrey Duration: Initial period of 3 months, to start immediately Hours: 40 Hours per week Pay: Competitive, discussed upon application The post holders' primary focus will be on providing expert care and rehabilitation services to individuals with hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions. The successful candidate will conduct detailed assessments of patients with hand injuries or conditions to evaluate their physical limitations and functional deficits, considering their specific needs and medical history. The Occupational Therapist’s duties are, but not limited to: Providing specialised assessment and treatment for hand therapy patients with complex needs and to provide expert advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers, relatives and other non- professionals. To perform advanced occupational/physiotherapy therapy assessment of patients with diverse presentations, complex physical and psychological conditions; to develop and implement an individualised treatment programme which will contribute to rehabilitation and self-management. To be responsible for own caseload and a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision To be considered for this position you must have the following: A relevant degree qualification in occupational therapy Previous experience within Hand Therapy HCPC registration What next?
