LendingMetrics’ clients cover a huge range of consumer and commercial lending products, resulting in a broad range of approaches. Each approach requires detailed understanding and analysis.
We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst (BA) to help our clients understand how our products can be deployed, designing the right structure for their consumer and decisioning processes.
The Junior BA will become part of our Solutions Department supporting a number of critical areas of the business. They will have regular, detailed discussions with our clients to design tailored decision engines. They will demonstrate product features as part of a training process for new and existing clients, becoming helping new clients get live while using our services to their greatest potential. The Junior BA will be expected to support sales by confidently presenting solutions and products to prospective clients with specific decisioning needs. The BA will also work closely with our developers to help drive product development.
Summary of Required Experience and Qualities:
· 1+ years' experience in an analytical role
· Strong documentation skills with great attention to detail
· Evidence of problem-solving skills, designing the right structure and solutions
· Competent using excel for analytical purposes
· Ability to discuss and present analysis professionally and coherently
· Ability to use initiative, prioritise, manage own workload and anticipate the needs of others.
· Demonstratable capability to understand new concepts and sourcing information quickly
Summary of Desirable Experience and Qualities:
· Familiarity with key statistical / analytical techniques and processes
· 1+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst or equivalent analytical experience
· Experience working in the Financial Services industry
· Experience working with Credit-Risk, lending processes and/or decisioning
· Experience using statistical software such as R, Python, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Jupyter for analytical purposes.
· An undergraduate degree or higher in a numerate discipline, or science with an emphasis on primary research.

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
