Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the capability to follow instructions accurately. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects and ensuring that operations run smoothly.
Duties
1. Carry out general labouring tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
2. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
3. Assist in the preparation of job sites by cleaning and organising work areas.
4. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
5. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
6. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a similar labouring role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
2. Familiarity with construction or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
4. Strong communication skills to understand instructions clearly and convey information effectively.
5. A valid driver's licence is desirable but not mandatory.
