Lettings Negotiator
A full time Lettings Negotiator role has arisen within a very well-established independent firm that provides a full range of professional property services.
As a lettings negotiator, you will often be the first point of contact for many, and therefore the successful candidate must have excellent customer service and clear communication skills, representing the firm in a professional manner either over the telephone, via email, or face-to-face, to build and maintain strong relationships with local property owners and tenants.
Lettings/property related experience is essential, and additional training and qualifications will be provided/supported.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Answering emails, telephone calls, or walk-in enquiries to register applicants and potential new landlords.
2. Arranging viewings for potential tenants.
3. Arranging valuations/meetings for potential landlords.
4. Liaising between the applicants and landlords to negotiate a successful letting and manage a successful tenancy.
5. Administrative roles include answering emails and phone calls, filing correspondence, and filing certificates and reports.
6. Arranging tradesmen for the upkeep of property maintenance and repairs as required.
7. Working as part of a small team, but at the same time working independently and using initiative.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with an eye for detail.
2. Have strong negotiation and communication skills.
3. Enjoy working with the public over the phone and face to face.
4. Hold a valid driving licence (preferred but not essential).
The job role will require Saturday working on a rota basis.
