About the Role – Kennel Assistant

2. Feeding, grooming, and providing daily enrichment for our furry guests.
3. Exercise, playtime, and one-on-one interaction – from fun activities to comforting cuddles.
This role is hands-on and far from glamorous (think muddy paws, pet hair, and plenty of cleaning!), but the rewards of building bonds with the animals make it all worthwhile!

1. Experience working with animals is a must.
2. Passion for animal welfare and care.
3. A hardworking and team-focused attitude.
4. A reliable team player with a proactive attitude.
5. Excellent communication skills, able to interact professionally with customers and colleagues at all levels.
6. Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
7. Ability to follow standard operating procedures to ensure the highest level of care.
8. Presentable and professional – smart, clean, and tidy in appearance.
9. Polite, approachable, and customer-focused, providing excellent service to clients.
10. Committed to continuous learning and self-development, helping us maintain our reputation for excellence.
11. Eligibility to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
12. Previous experience in animal welfare.
13. Evidence of further education in a related field.
