Reservations Agent Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. We are looking for a Reservations Agent who will support the Reservations Management Team, managing all restaurants bookings, understanding current offers and promotions available while taking reservations accurately and in a timely manner keeping the business needs at the forefront of your mind. About the Role As a Reservations Agent, you will manage and coordinate restaurant bookings. You will interact with guests, handle reservation enquiries, and ensure accurate scheduling. Attention to detail is crucial to maintain a smooth flow of reservations, and excellent communication skills contribute to providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, you may collaborate with other staff members to optimize seating arrangements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the dining experience. You will deliver meticulous administrational duties, following established standards and procedures and ensure to have a good knowledge of both offline and online platforms, and to fulfil assigned responsibilities and daily tasks. You will also: Maximise revenue by converting enquiries into reservations, recognising business prospects, and taking every opportunity to identify key customer and restaurant needs whilst promoting a business focused mindset. Take accountability to look after all the Elite, VIP, Private Shopping, and any other exclusively set channels, ensuring that all required reservations are made, and restaurants notified. Regular monitor of restaurant information and menus to ensure it’s reflected across all the required platforms, social media accounts and any other relevant sources and react and ensure to communicate to relevant Restaurant Teams any guest feedback Communicate with Restaurant Teams to understand their individual restaurant operational needs, following established processes and SOPs to ensure a smooth operation and maximisation of covers. Ensure compliance to GDPR and achieve the required standard consistently Know our regular customers and build strong relationships with them. About You You will be confident in carrying out exceptional service as well as being passionate about people, Harrods and going above and beyond to create moments of delight for our customers. You will be the ambassador of each restaurant and the first point of contact for the restaurant’s customer enquiries and bookings, ensuring thorough knowledge of menus, opening times and other relevant restaurant information. You will have great attention to detail and organisational skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as being energetic, ambitious and striving for excellence. Having previous experience in a Reservations Agent or Host role in a luxury environment working with a PMS system is essential. You will also have a good knowledge and confidence with the software and the systems we use (SevenRooms, Insight etc.), with any relevant trainings completed regarding this.
