JOB - Sales Engineer
LOCATION - Oxfordshire
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £30,000-£40,000 p/a
Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Oxfordshire that is looking to hire a Sales Engineer. Experience in the aerospace or defence sector is highly desirable for this role.
The Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* A degree or qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related field (HND, HNC, BEng, BSc, etc.).
* Previous experience in a technical sales or business development role within engineering or manufacturing.
* Knowledge of the aerospace or defence industry, including its standards and regulations.
* Strong technical understanding to discuss engineering solutions with customers.
* Proven ability to generate leads, manage customer relationships, and close sales.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
The Sales Engineer role will involve:
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the aerospace and defence sectors.
* Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients.
* Providing technical support and guidance to customers regarding product specifications.
* Preparing and delivering sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
* Negotiating contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
* Collaborating with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Attending industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote the company's capabilities.
