Our client is a leading distributor committed to delivering the highest quality products to our clients across the UK. Their extensive network and innovative approach set us apart in the industry. They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Support Planner to join the dynamic team and play a crucial role in supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages and overstock.
3. Supplier Coordination: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, confirm orders, track shipments, and resolve any issues promptly.
4. Logistics Optimization: Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
5. Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and inform decision-making.
6. Compliance Management: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
8. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve supply chain disruptions and logistical challenges efficiently.

Qualifications:

9. Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain planning or logistics, preferably in the foodservice industry.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
11. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
12. Effective communication and negotiation skills.
13. Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards is an advantage.
14. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
