The HR Coordinator will provide comprehensive and effective support with HR and staffing matters across the Faculty of Life Sciences, ensuring compliance and adherence with policy. They will line manage the HR Administrators and build effective and positive working relationships across the Faculty, spotting and flagging any potential people issues. They will work as part of a team of HR Coordinators to manage the everyday HR activity across the Faculty. This role leads on recruitment with the other FTE HR Coordinator. The post is permanent and part-time FTE (hours per week). The salary scale at the top of the advert is the full-time salary range, so multiply by to get the part-time salary range for this post. The post is hybrid working on campus 60% of the working week. There is some flexibility with working days but Wednesdays are onsite so that the HR Team can work together in person.
About you
Experience working in an HR generalist role is essential as is working knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices and a demonstrable record of effectively managing people. A full list of essential and desirable criteria for the role is contained in the attached job description.
