MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading media organisation to recruit an Account Director to join their team and drive digital growth in Northern Ireland.
As Account Director, you will drive advertising revenue across print and digital platforms, with responsibility for agency accounts and key clients across Northern Ireland. This role is pivotal in growing market share and achieving revenue targets through proactive sales and solution-driven approaches that address clients’ unique advertising needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximise revenue across print and online platforms.
* Proactively prospect, engage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline through meetings, calls, and presentations.
* Identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies based on market trends.
* Use solution-based selling to understand client needs and provide tailored advertising packages.
* Create compelling proposals that integrate print and digital advertising solutions to drive client ROI.
* Build strong consultative relationships by staying informed about clients’ business goals and challenges.
* Collaborate with key clients and advertising agencies to optimise campaign performance.
* Negotiate and close deals effectively, ensuring alignment with client objectives and budgets.
* Stay updated on industry trends to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
* Track and analyse sales performance to drive continuous improvement and revenue growth.
About You
* BA/BS degree preferred in Marketing, Business, or equivalent.
* Experience in agency and key account advertising sales, ideally within a media or publishing environment.
* Strong ability in consultative and solution-selling, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Established relationships with media agencies in the NI market.
* Excellent networking, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage clients and agencies at all levels.
