Job Role: Project Delivery Manager
Location: Leeds (LS9)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (negotiated on experience) + Bonus
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (1 hour lunch)

Main Duties / Key Responsibilities:
The role of a Project Delivery Manager is to “proactively drive on time project delivery, on budget to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and repeat business.”
Project launch
1. Review quotation, supporting documentation and email history to familiarise yourself with the project.
2. Speak to your Sales contact to understand customer requirements, stakeholders and expectations
3. Lead project launch meeting with customer to ensure their scope is clearly understood, expectations are clear from both sides, highlight/mitigate risks and agreeing on ongoing communication plan.
4. Agree format for regular communication (internal and with customer) with clear agenda and issued minutes.
Delivery
1. Create an achievable project plan following SLA’s agreed during project launch
2. Schedule tasks to achieve this plan ensuring project is resourced accordingly, quickly communicate/escalate if information or comments are late causing delay to plan
3. Proactively drive company and customer team to ensure plan is achieved
Budget control
1. Manage project to deliver on customer agreed budget.
2. Identify, communicate and justify commercial scope change at the point of variation to obtain commercial approval to proceed from the budget owner within our customers organisation
Technical
1. Monitors revisions and ensure timely intervention if designs do not quickly converge to a solution (in line with plan)
2. Ensure open lines of communication between internal teams and customer – If technical input required
3. Proactively manage technical drawing delivery in correlation with the project plan.
Project close down
1. Arrange project close out meeting to discuss project performance and lessons learnt
2. Discuss future projects to implement these lessons learnt
Job Dimension / Scope
The project delivery manager must proactively manage multiple customer stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully and in line with our core values. They are at the forefront of the business in terms of building customer relationships and gaining future opportunities. This is a key role in managing construction projects and ensuring projects are completed within budget while meeting quality standards.

- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and client facing skills
- MS Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Ability to multitask with excellent time management
- High level of accountability for plans, action, delivery and outcome.

- Commercial awareness (budget, forecast, margin etc)
- Excellent phone manner ensuring professionalism is shown at each touch point

Experience & Knowledge
- Account management experience (in a technical environment desirable)
- Construction experience
- Leading teams to achieve a successful outcome
- Previous experience using an internal CRM system.
Training:
– Full in-house training will be provided along with a structured induction plan. This will include elements of shadowing more experienced members of team.
