Job Description
We are looking for a Resource Planner to join our client who are a leading temporary structure and staging company within the events Industry to major festivals and tours in both the UK and Europe!
You will be a forward thinker and planner determining future workforce needs for each project, analysing current workforce and identifying the gap between the present and the future ensuring the company continues to achieve their goals and maintain efficient operations of the business.
This is a privately owned UK company, with a head office near Leeds. This role is based on site Monday – Friday (8:30 – 17:30) so we will require somebody who lives locally to the area.
As the Resource Planner, you will work closely alongside the Operations Manager to ensure each project is a success and delivered effectively and on time. You will have strong organisational skills and be a critical thinker with the ability to react quickly and manage your timelines accordingly.
We are looking for individuals who have a couple of years’ experience within a similar role preferably construction/events as you will be someone who understands the task at hand and is ready to come in and make this role your own whilst being able to identify gaps alongside the Operations Manager where you could improve the overall timeline of projects and implement where necessary.
Your role will include allocating crew (both permanent and seasonal), allocating materials and identifying shortages, monitor schedules, rota planning, hiring seasonal employees, assigning employees to different jobs and ensuring permanent crew are utilised wherever possible to name just a few of your responsibilities!
On occasion, you will be required to work some evenings and weekends during their busy periods (May – November) where this will be paid in addition to your salary, but this is split throughout the team on a rota basis.
From a salary perspective, you are looking £30,000 - £35,000 depending on your experience. You will receive 21 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (This goes up a day each year of service), bike2work scheme, pension and many other benefits!
