Ratby Medical Centre are seeking an experienced professional qualified practice nurse to join our practice.
Due to a recent relocation to a brand-new purpose-built premises and our increasing patient list size, our small family-run Medical Centre is looking to expand our nursing team to enhance both our current offer to patients and provide new services closer to home.
Main duties of the job
To assist medical personnel in the care of practice patients, including treatment, preventative care, screening, and patient education. To continue to develop and improve the practice's infection control procedures, whilst keeping up to date with all infection control guidance and compliance.
The practice nurse will deliver general practice nursing to the entire practice population, working within practice policies and PGDs, delivering effective management of patients with Long Term Conditions using evidence-based practice.
We encourage applicants with experience and interests such as diabetes, spirometry, and/or infection control.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Current NMC registration
* Qualified Practice Nurse who is able to offer Chronic disease management, Immunisations and vaccinations, Cervical cytology, and Wound care services for patients
* Independent prescriber
* ARPT registered
* Chronic disease diploma
Experience
* Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse within General Practice
* Team player and ability to work independently, but as part of our wider team
* Able to work under pressure
* Good understanding of confidentiality and GDPR
* Enthusiastic with a desire to improve primary care services
