* Maintain professional standards in health and facilitate the operation of a service’s day-to-day functions.
* Lead and develop a team within a mental health environment.
* Manage a diverse workforce, ensuring excellent care is delivered and operational performance is maintained.
* Develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.
* Ensure quality and financial targets are met, facilitating the development of quality healthcare services.
* Contribute to the strategic development of the hospital, ensuring adherence to the hospital’s objectives and business plan.
* Promote and enhance the hospital’s reputation for care and service.
* Provide strong and robust leadership in the hospital environment.
* Oversee budgetary responsibilities for the hospital.
* Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees, and visitors.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
* Deliver the best care and safeguard patients’ welfare, dignity, respect, and privacy.
About the Service:
The service is gender-specific, working with women who have complex mental health issues. Waterloo Manor is the largest female Personality Disorder service in the United Kingdom, providing assessment and treatment services for women with complex mental health disorders. The hospital offers both low secure and rehabilitation services.
Applicants must:
* Have a valid NMC PIN.
* Possess an excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector, with an understanding of mental health issues and a passion for improving clinical quality and patient care.
* Have experience within similar services.
* Demonstrate extensive understanding of the Care Quality Commission standards and transforming care, with experience in hosting inspections and improving practice based on feedback.
* Have previous experience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Lead Nurse, with 5-7 years working in a similar environment.
