Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Chorley Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Salary: £83.85 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and providing additional support to students Assisting with the planning and preparation of teaching materials Supervising students during class and other activities Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties Assessing and recording student progress Required Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Experience working in a classroom setting Good understanding of the national curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Experience: Previous experience working in a classroom setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the national curriculum Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: Work in a school environment Regular working hours during school term times Potential for dealing with challenging behaviour from students.
