Business Studies and Economics Teacher Location: Chichester Job Type: Temporary (with potential extension) Start Date: ASAP until Easter (with potential extension into the Summer term) We are seeking a dedicated Business Studies and Economics Teacher to join a dynamic school in Chichester. This role requires the ability to teach Economics up to A-level. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge and effective behaviour management skills. This temporary position is set to start immediately and will run until Easter, with a possibility of extending into the Summer term. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Business Studies and Economics up to A-level. Prepare students for examinations and assessments in both subjects. Develop and utilise a variety of teaching materials and approaches to suit different learning styles. Monitor and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a positive, educational atmosphere in the classroom. Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and strategies. Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a good learning environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and/or proven track record for teaching the UK syllabus. Proven experience in teaching Business Studies and Economics, with the capability to teach Economics to A-level. Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
