Your Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Manage and grow existing accounts within the food processing and manufacturing sectors.
2. Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
3. Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities.
4. Develop and align strategic business plans and sales targets to support long-term growth.
5. Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote our product portfolio.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and industry stakeholders to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
7. Engage in regular networking and relationship-building within the industry.
8. Review RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and clarify customer specifications and requirements.
9. Deliver tailored technical and commercial proposals based on RFQs and PSM support.
10. Provide technical and sales presentations to customers and stakeholders.
11. Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system and manage accurate sales forecasts.
12. Support contract negotiations in collaboration with the Business Unit, including terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
13. Ensure clear communication through order confirmations and participation in turnover/handover meetings.
14. Consistently manage customer expectations through regular follow-ups and service support.
15. Travel across the Southeast UK (approximately 60-80%) to meet with current and potential clients, attend trade shows, and industry events.
Your Profile and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical), Food Science, Business Studies/Economics or a related field.
2. Background in frontline sales, account management, or business development within the food packaging or food processing industry.
3. Knowledge of the food processing industry sectors (poultry, meat, fish, vegetables, etc.).
4. Proven track record of managing and growing B2B customer relationships.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
6. Detail-oriented with the ability to provide timely feedback to both internal and external customers.
7. Proficiency in MS Office products and SAP C4C.
8. Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
