We’re seeking a Geo-Environmental Consultant to be based in our Plymouth office. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career within an established and successful company that has welfare and wellbeing as core values.
Here’s what you’ll do:
1. Take day-to-day responsibility for delivering Phase 1 reports, ground investigations, and routine monitoring works.
2. Demonstrate growing technical and commercial skills to support project delivery.
3. Ensure technical quality, budget compliance, and adherence to project timelines with a high degree of independence.
4. Prepare fee proposals for both internal and external clients, contributing to business development.
5. Manage project input from desk studies and feasibility assessments through ground investigations and interpretation to final design.
6. Collaborate with the team while maintaining an ambitious and proactive approach to project success.
Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. A good understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
2. Working knowledge of CDM regulations and site management.
3. Development of conceptual site models.
4. Hands-on experience within field investigation, including site management, drilling supervision, collection of groundwater and ground gas samples, or the supervision of remediation activities.
5. Qualitative risk assessment.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports and documents.
7. Clean driving licence.
8. Willing to travel within the UK and work away from home for periods of time.
