The hospital is a Trust of 2 site bases with Microbiology on its acute sites. You will be based at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary with an expectation to cover Furness General Hospital as required. All of our hospitals offer a warm, friendly environment which we pride ourselves upon.

Main duties of the job
The role of Infection Control Doctor, antimicrobial stewardship lead, and Clinical Lead may be held, as part of this appointment, rotationally with Consultant Microbiology colleagues.

1. Full and specialist registration and with a licence to practise with the GMC (or be eligible for registration within six months of interview).
2. FRCPath or evidence of equivalent qualification. MBBS, MB ChB or evidence of equivalent qualification.
