Treasurer Assistant (01 Year Fixed Term Contract)

In this role, you will be responsible for performing treasury operations conforming to deadlines and procedures, preparing treasury reports, and alerting management in the event of a discrepancy being detected.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Documentation:
1. Residual value weekly/monthly reporting
2. Bank mandate document compilation
3. BOI reporting activities related to Treasury
4. Export Proceeds Monitoring System maintenance
5. Ad-hoc documentation handling:
6. Bank account confirmations
7. Balance confirmations
8. Physical letter management
Quantum:
1. Daily transaction set up (workflow to be defined) for:
2. Forwards
3. Bank transfers
4. Forecast groundwork support:
5. SAP report compilation
6. Other source data compilation
Forex Exposure Calculation:
Supporting the team in calculating forex exposure.
Month-End Reporting and Other Activities:
1. Support with provisions calculations
2. Support with hedge accounting processes
3. Loan interest calculations
4. FX Reporting and Analysis support
Bank Platform Transactions (Limited to Internal Transactions):
1. Rubber Center transfers
2. Interbank transfers
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Bachelor's Degree specialized in Accounting & Finance, Business Management or equivalent
* Part qualification in CA/CIMA (UK)/ ACCA (UK)/ ISMM/ CIPS will be an added advantage.
* Minimum 02 years of relevant experience.
* Ability to learn and adapt quickly to meet changing needs while demonstrating honesty and integrity in all aspects.
* Fluency in English with good communication skills
* Project management skills with proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP
