Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness and complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Management Worker to join our team.
Our Homeless Service Team help provide holistic support, care and rehabilitation opportunities for our customers who need it most. As a Housing Management Worker you will deal with all aspects of the Housing Management function, ensuring a high quality professional service is delivered and customer care standards are maintained for Homeless Service clients.
Specifically, you will ensure supported accommodation properties are fit for purpose, undertaken inspections and fire safety checks, liaise with income teams, key workers and other colleagues across the business, on things like rent and service charges, client support and communications, and all aspects of administration and management of housing admissions and customer experience.
We are looking for someone who holds a level 2 qualification (GCSE or equivalent), ideally in a relevant field for the role, and has demonstratable skills in IT, particularly Microsoft Office programs. As a Housing Management Worker you will possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide life skills and guidance to others. Customer service experience is essential as you will be delivering a high standard service to our customers and clients who use Coastline's Homeless Service. The hours for this role are on a 2 week rolling rota including every other weekend and evening shifts.
If you have experience working with individuals within the social care sector, or individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse support needs this would be an advantage, however we welcome applications from those who don't have this experience but have a passion for supporting people. Experience of working within housing management or an accommodation setting would also be advantageous.
