The Property Manager role is responsible for the overall management of the Property team including Estates, Building Services, Engineers, and Parking, as well as the effective performance of the Council’s land and property portfolio in line with the strategic objectives of our Commercialisation Strategy.
In order to be considered suitable for the post you will need to:
1. Hold a management qualification or demonstrate experience of management of a specialist technical team.
2. Be a full Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience.
3. Hold a RICS Accredited Degree in Estate Management, Land Management, Valuation or RICS accredited subject.
4. Be a registered Valuer with the RICS.
5. Have knowledge of the law relating to property, land, buildings, estate management, and valuation.
6. Have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Be able to work using own initiative and to respond positively to changing priorities.
