Innovative machine control technology utilises advanced sensors, GPS, and automated control systems to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of heavy machinery on construction sites. Due to expansion in our Machine Control team, we are now looking to hire a Machine Control Hire Controller / Administrator. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our machine control hire services. Your responsibilities will include handling administrative tasks, managing customer queries via phone and email, and processing jobs through InspHire Software. Additionally, you will help control our machine control stock—including parts and sale items—and support regular stock checks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Day-to-Day Administration:
o Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient operations.
2. Customer Communication:
o Take phone calls and respond to emails, addressing customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
3. Job Processing:
o Raise hire, sales, and workshop jobs using InspHire Software, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery.
4. Purchase Orders:
o Generate purchase orders on InspHire Software as needed.
5. Stock Control:
o Assist in managing machine control stock, including parts and sale items, to support seamless service delivery.
6. Regular Stock Checks:
o Help conduct routine stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
To Secure This Role You Will Need
* Experience in an administrative role, ideally within the construction or equipment hire sector.
* Familiarity with InspHire Software or similar systems is desirable.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer queries efficiently.
* A proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented approach, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
* An understanding of machine control technology and its benefits in modern construction environments would be an advantage.
