RVT Group is recruiting for a Site Installer at Portsmouth Naval Base. This role is crucial in supporting our technical engineering installations, primarily focused on LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) and water treatment systems. To ensure that customer site projects are delivered to the required levels of quality, on budget and on time. Ensuring that contract staff deliver technical requirements as specified and carry out technical LEV installations on naval platforms and around the base. There will also be a requirement to support projects and installations on an ad hoc basis. We're a specialist hire company with a unique consultative approach. Responsibilities Conduct technical surveys in an efficient and timely manner on naval platforms and around the base. Assist in carrying out LEV testing and follow-up reporting. Carry out fault-finding activities on equipment breakdowns and provide time updates and solutions. Technical LEV installations, ensuring all installs comply with RVT standards. Complete delivery and collection documentation as and when required. Write and review RAMS ensuring everything is fully documented. Manage on-site logistics (booking transport, crane lifting & power supplies). Assist in general stores/workshop activities and housekeeping. Promote the right health & safety culture across the operations teams. Maintain high standards of clear communication between key stakeholders. Please note: This role will include travel and the occasional overnight stay. Requirements Excellent knowledge of LEV systems. (E) NVQ Level 2 in Electrical/Mechanical. (E) Good electrical/mechanical knowledge. (D) Health & Safety certification–e.g., IOSH Managing Safely. (D) BPSS security clearance. (D) Experience of working on a construction site or in a high-risk environment. (D) CSCS/CCNSG Card. (D) BOHS P600 Cert. (D) Knowledge of Naval Platforms. (D) Full driving license.
