Aerodynamic performance is the largest differentiator in Formula One. Our Graduate Aerodynamicists apply their strong knowledge of aerodynamic fundamentals to tackle complex aerodynamic problems. Responsibilities:
* You will help improve the aerodynamic performance of our current and future race cars by:
* Working effectively as part of a team
* Analysing and understanding the results of wind tunnel (WT) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tests
* Efficiently creating and iterating new geometric solutions to aerodynamic problems using computer aided design (CAD)
* Working shifts in the wind tunnel as part of the team responsible for ensuring a successful test
* Proactively learning, expanding your aerodynamic understanding and improving your skills, always seeking the next challenge
Key skills and experience:
* An excellent engineering degree with a specialisation in aerodynamics or equivalent
* A thorough understanding of aerodynamics and the ability to apply that knowledge
* A strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* A keen eye for detail and a high standard of quality
* To be a strong and engaged team player, able to operate independently and exercise sound judgement as part of an overall plan at times, and with regular interactions with your teammates at others
This position would also suit a candidate who is early in their career and is not limited to only those who have graduated recently.
