We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Arboricultural Consultant to join an established group, based out of the Manchester office on a hybrid basis.
About the job:
You'll be collaborating closely with a team of ecologists to deliver consultancy services within a growing team of a large multi-disciplinary group.
Working throughout the UK, you'll ensure high-quality technical delivery, provide strategic advice on all things arb, and work closely with your ecology and GIS colleagues to provide integrated solutions.
You'll get to work on and manage a diverse range of projects, across the whole project lifecycle from pre-planning to delivery, including preparing tenders at the start of projects, providing specialised advice on tree-related issues, and promoting and developing arboricultural services.

Salary for this role is in the region of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus benefits including:

About you:
To apply for this role you will need a Diploma or Degree level qualification in Arboriculture, along with at least 1+ year in Arboricultural Consultancy, with experience in:
* Visual tree and hedgerow assessments
* Baseline condition assessments
* BS5837 surveys
* Applying for, and advising on felling licenses, and preparation of forestry, tree and woodland management plans
* Site monitoring and supervision of works on sites
You'll need strong skills and knowledge in IDing tree defects and diseases and excellent knowledge of Tree Preservation Orders and UK Planning Legislation.
You'll need a full UK driving licence, and be happy to travel throughout the UK, with periods of time away from home as required.
