Your responsibilities will include: Courtroom Support & Management - Sit in on civil, family, or tribunal courts, assisting the judiciary by managing the courtroom and accurately recording hearings. Video Hearings Administration - Set up and support virtual court hearings via Microsoft Teams and the HMCTS Cloud Video Platform (CVP). Case Administration & Data Entry - Process and input civil, family, or employment tribunal cases, ensuring all information is recorded accurately. Communication & Correspondence - Liaise with judges, legal professionals, and court users, handling calls and inquiries with professionalism and discretion. General Administrative Support - Manage documents, emails, and legal paperwork, ensuring efficiency in court operations. What We're Looking For: ✔ Strong IT Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential. ✔ Excellent Communication & Listening Skills - You will be engaging with judges, legal teams, and the public daily. ✔ Resilience & Attention to Detail - Taking accurate notes on court evidence requires focus and composure under pressure. ✔ A Team Player - Ability to work collaboratively while handling confidential and sensitive information. ✔ Administrative Experience - Previous experience in an administrative role is beneficial, but training will be provided.
