Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Operators to join our clients manufacturing plant in the Cardiff area. Candidates will need to have experience within electrical assembly or a similar assembly based role. Hours of work: Days Regular: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 with an early finish on Fridays of 13:00pm. Duties: Perform various types of sub assembly of electrical products Gather components needed to meet production schedule Sets up equipment and solder components together. Use of small hand-held tooling systems and equipment to build product. Packaging finished product. Function testing of electrical products. Record any errors and rejects on production sheets. Clean work area and equipment (soldering irons ect). Working to production KPIs and targets to ensure output is achieved. Desired Skillset: Good attention to details/good hand eye co-ordination. Previous experience within a similar assembly / electrical assembly role. Previous soldering experience would be an advantage however not essential. Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
