Pathology and Blood Sciences have had major investment in new equipment and refurbishment with the implementation of a Beckman Power Express track (2016), running 2x AU5800 Biochemistry analysers and 2x DXI800 Immunoassay analysers (2016). We have also improved our Protein electrophoresis laboratory with the implementation of a Capillarys 2 for the identification and quantitation of specific proteins. Knowledge and experience: Must hold honours degree in biomedical science. Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practitioner in biomedical science. Main responsibilities: To operate in a professional manner in compliance with the professional codes of conduct (IBMS). To organise daily duties in the provision of a quality service.
