Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Do you have a passion for helping students fulfil their potential? We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our current hard-working staff working with secondary schools in the Chichester area. You may find yourself working on a 1:1 basis, or with small groups of pupils within the school. You will be supported by class teacher who will prepare work for you in accordance with pupils needs and targets and provide feedback on pupils’ progress. The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN in or out of a school and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of the current curriculum will be advantageous, but not essential. We can offer additional training through our CPD Academy such as Team Teaching and working with Autism. You will need to consider children's learning styles and what motivates them to stay engaged, using positive behaviour management.
