We’re seeking a dedicated Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team and lead by example in providing exceptional patient care.
Take the Lead
As a Senior RVN, you’ll work closely with our Head RVN for overseeing the nursing team at Richmond House and ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients. You’ll work closely with the practice management team to drive the continuous improvement of clinical and operational procedures. Your leadership will help foster a positive and supportive work environment, where our team can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the nursing team to provide outstanding patient care.
2. Oversee day to day clinical workflows, seeking to improve efficiency, maximising patient related time.
3. Ensure clinical protocols and patient care standards are consistently met.
4. Perform routine nursing duties, inpatient care, and consultations as required. Proactively engage and embed clinical frameworks using innovation and autonomy.

Our clinic is equipped with modern technology such as digital x-ray, a new ultrasound machine, dental equipment, multi-parameter monitoring, and in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment. We are committed to continually investing in the practice and our team, with ongoing refurbishments to further support our growth and enhance service delivery. We have recently merged branches with our Gatehouse Veterinary Clinic in Bingley.
Our dedicated team comprises 2 experienced veterinary surgeons, 2 animal care assistants, and a practice manager. You will be expected to work from our Gatehouse branch once per week.

We are looking for an RVN who is passionate about more complete patient care and supporting others in their learning and growth. You will be proactive in promoting high clinical standards within the practice and empowering the team to follow suit. By working closely with the practice manager, you will share administrative duties to ensure you maintain a strong clinical presence.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, which can be spread across 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday. There are no out-of-hours duties associated with this role.
