Who Does This Role Report Into? - Senior Surveyor
Role Summary / Purpose and Scope
The Centre Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of Cathedral Square, Worcester inclusive of strong engagement with occupiers to fully understand their business needs.
The role requires a background in and full understanding of retail shopping centre management to be able to liaise between the client, surveyors and tenants on the improvement and performance of the asset. The Centre Manager will work closely with the MAPP team and client to establish a more successful, performing asset
Skills, Knowledge and Values

* Lead Meetings with key stakeholders such as Tenant Meetings, contractor reviews
* Ensure centre teams are complying with their Job Roles and completing daily checks to ensure site staff are completing their tasks correctly - Centre Administrator and security and cleaning teams
* Provide knowledge of the centre’s performance in client meetings
* Ensure effective collaboration with all key stakeholders, including local authority, BID representatives and others
* Tenant liaison with a prompt response and resolution to their issues
* Monitor contractor/supplier performance and review RAMS and issue Permits to Work as appropriate
* Manage the scheme aligned with the MAPP Values
* Prompt response to emails from colleagues, tenants and client and prompt resolution of complaints received
* Conduct regular site inspections in line with MAPP procedures
* Ensure health and safety management systems are kept up to date, reports logged and actions dealt with
* Assist in preparation of service charge reconciliation, setup and manage the budget for the site and Ensure expenditure is managed within agreed budget
* Regular liaison with the contract managers to ensure that KPIs are being met and works are being conducted properly
* Aid with environmental strategy to reduce energy consumption, maximise recycling and reduce waste to landfill
* Liaise with the external marketing team to ensure they are fulfilling their contract requirement including updating marketing channels including digital, offline and social media
* Lead event planning and management including charity and social events
* Plan and deliver tactical integrated marketing campaigns and managing the production and distribution of marketing materials
* Contribute to Commercialisation strategy and commercialisation of common areas and oversee the provider to drive income/add value to the Centre
* Monitoring statutory and internal compliance,including meeting MAPP policies and procedures, RICS and ISO standards and any statutory timelines and escalation requirements

Experience and Salary
Level of Experience / Certifications:
* 3 years experience of working in a similar role
* Centre Manager experience required
* IOSH desirable
* NEBOSH desirable
Working Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Thursday & 9am - 5pm Friday
Salary Range (Based on Experience)
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
