Your new company
One of our long-standing clients is looking to recruit a proven HR Advisor to join their team. My client could also consider part-time (4 days a week) for this role. This is a vital role in the HR team, where you will work alongside an experienced HRBP and collaborate with managers and employees to deliver a proactive and professional HR service.
Your new role
1. Take the lead and advise on all employee relations issues (including disciplinary, grievance, attendance, probations).
2. Work with the HR team to complete a variety of HR projects.
3. Assist the HRBP in developing HR procedures and policies.
4. Advise managers to ensure that HR processes are followed and embedded in the culture.
5. Provide reliable and trusted employment law advice both in the UK and internationally where required.
6. Deliver training sessions to managers on HR policies and procedures.
7. HR data reporting (including absence and leaver metrics).
8. Conduct exit interviews and develop meaningful data and recommendations for the business.
9. Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to embed values into the organisational culture.
10. Undertake cultural work (surveys) and support HR and the wider business leaders in the analysis of results.
11. Support the HR Business Partner in promoting Employee Forums, including minutes of meetings and proactively addressing and resolving points made.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with managers and employees.
2. Experience in a generalist HR role (at Advisor level), with solid experience in employee relations and recruitment.
3. Experience of providing solutions-based HR advice including employment law and best practices.
4. Knowledge of dealing with performance management processes and procedures.
5. Knowledge of payroll and the salary review process.
6. Ideally, knowledge and experience of Change Management and the Training and Development processes.
What you'll get in return
