The Role
As the Invoicing Assistant, you will work in a very business office environment, in an organisation with a strong company culture and family-friendly work-life balance.
You will be responsible for the following day-to-day duties:
* Process customer invoices, ensuring they are raised accurately and timely so
* outstanding balances can be collected efficiently.
* Support the setup of customer accounts to ensure invoices are raised correctly
* Log and resolve queries promptly, ensuring customers and internal teams are kept updated.
* Reconcile balances and investigate differences.
* Develop and nurture relationships with external suppliers & customers that enable efficient resolution of issues that arise.
* Work closely with all departments to understand our customer expectations and work with our supplier base to meet these expectations.
* Identify areas for change that will result in a smoother and more efficient process and liaise with the relevant areas to implement those changes, such as system and process improvements.
The Person
Previous experience in invoicing and administrative support is required.
* Must be proficient in working with the MS Office suite.
* Familiar with invoicing software & other financial systems.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Have a proactive & positive approach to work.
* Proven record of meeting deadlines.
* Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive customer and financial data.
