We have a vacancy for a Band 6 talented Physiotherapist to join our friendly, dedicated community teams; helping to ensure that our children and young people in East Sussex get the start in life that they deserve. You will be expected to travel within East Sussex to meet the needs of the caseload. You'll be joining a service which is directly integrated with Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists, working in clinics, schools, nurseries, and family homes. We are devoted to supporting children through holistic care.
Whilst carrying a specialist caseload of children, you will also have a leadership role within the team. We are looking for someone who has ideas about how we can change and improve our approaches to allocation to make the experience of our service users more streamlined and the experience of our therapists more fulfilling. Main duties of the job
The assessment and treatment for children and young people predominantly with a neurodevelopmental condition from 0-19 years old. There will be opportunities to develop a specialism which could be in special schools, orthotics, postural management, early years, and/or hydrotherapy. The work will be in various locations across East Sussex and could be in community clinics, schools, nurseries, and family homes.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered health care professional (HCPC registration) / minimum of 2 years of experience in Physiotherapy. Physiotherapy degree and evidence of relevant post-graduate development at Level 6.
* Management or supervisory qualification or experience of study.
Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in area of practice. Practical experience in managing health-related projects/complex caseloads. Supporting others (mentor/educator/supervisor) experience.
* Experience of leading and managing teams.
Specialist knowledge and expertise
* Understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance relevant to care setting and its application across health care services. Evidence of continued relevant professional development and implementation in practice within the last 12 months.
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively with a variety of people at all organizational levels across different sectors including areas of social deprivation. Ability to communicate complex, sensitive information to individuals and groups. Strong influencing and negotiating skills.

* Ability to motivate and organize others to ensure best practice. Ability to manage and lead change. Ability to work under pressure. Flexible and adaptable.

* Able to support the implementation of local and national agendas for health under the guidance of the senior Practitioner. Ability to prioritize care delivery in a professional manner, taking into account Trust policies and procedures. Ability to manage own time effectively.
