Pure are working with a business in Hadleigh who are looking for a temporary purchase ledger assistant to join the team.
The client is flexible on part time hours but stretched over 4/5 days a week.
Main Responsibilities to include:
Ensure purchase invoices and are processed promptly, liaising with budget holders for timely authorisation.
To ensure bank payments and receipts are processed promptly and reconciliations performed as required.
To ensure good internal controls with respect to the purchase ledger function e.g. raising of purchase orders and matching PODs.
Resolve, or assist in resolving, invoice disputes promptly and efficiently.
Assist in maintaining and managing the Company’s financial controls and reconciliations.
Ensure that purchase accounts are maintained and paid when they fall due.
Manage and process transactions relating to company credit cards.
Oversee and manage petty cash
To provide information on purchases and costs as required.
