With a commitment to excellence and a dedication to pushing the limits of what's possible, they are seeking talented individuals to join them on this exciting journey.Job Role for the NPI Engineer:Leveraging your expertise to ensure a smooth transition from product development to full-scale production, enhancing design and manufacturing efficiency whilst ensuring the products quality is not compromised.Drive Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities for new and existing productsOperations lead of new product introductionLead virtual builds and prototype development, ensuring early identification of potential manufacturing challengesPlan and oversee first production runs, coordinating with all stakeholders and teams to validate manufacturing processes and ensure product readinessManage the seamless transition from development to productionIdentify and implement opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction and continuous improvementDevelop, update and maintain comprehensive production documentation, including job routings and work instructionsCoordinate with test department and production teams to resolve any testing discrepancies or failure modesThe successful NPI Engineer will have the below skills and experience:Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing, production, engineering or technical role, with RF and electronics or similar experienceProven experience NPI Manufacturing Engineering roleStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality systemsStrong problem solving and analytical skills, with experience in root cause analysisBSc (hons) or MSc in Electronics Engineering, experience with electronics and RF componentsCharted Engineer or working towardsHands on experience with RF systems, analogue and digital circuits, antennas and electronics manufacturing processesFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologiesThis company offer a fantastic benefits package including the below:Discretionary bonusPrivate medical insurance for employee; additional family members can be added at cost to employee25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, with the opportunity to buy and sell leavePension contribution matched up to 8%Employee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible benefits schemeCycle to work schemeIf you are interested in this opportunity please click 'apply' or contact Orion Reading today for more information, thank you.Due to the volume of applications we receive, unfortunately we are not able to respond to every application personally, therefore, if you have not heard back from us within 5 working days please assume your application has been unsuccessful.
