At Jet Aire, we're on the hunt for an Excavations Manager who knows how to keep things moving smoothly, maximise every opportunity, and deliver top-notch service-all while keeping safety and excellence at the heart of everything About the role: As our Excavations Manager, you will oversee daily operations, collaborating with staff to ensure a proactive approach and the efficient completion of all projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and attending key on-site meetings as needed. Additionally, you'll be responsible for delivering performance reports, keeping stakeholders informed and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Manage the on-site Operations and Administration across all depots To develop and grow the Excavations division in line with company objectives. Achieve operational targets and budgets annually. Ensure all works are carried out in line with HSE regulations. Pre works site visit is carried out as a means of identifying works requirements and the costs associated with these. Resource management to ensure correct personnel and equipment are on site on time. Ensure any deficiencies in service are identified and addressed prior to site handover. Complete Quality Checks/Site Audits and Health and Safety Site Audits. Ensure completion of Tool Box Talks and Briefings as required. Thorough scope, price and submit Quotations. Proactively liaise with clients and the BD Department re pursuing jobs. Ensure all works administration is clearly captured and recorded on the company CRM. Oversee all planning activity to ensure we are working efficiently and effectively. Full utilisation of all resource. About you: Proven experience within an operations environment at management level. Commercial and financial understanding with an fundamental understanding of impacts between costs and revenue. Ability to lead an experienced team, communicating effectively and ability to grow / develop to achieve a high performing department. Full clean UK driving licence. Right to work in the UK is essential.
