An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced midwife to join our team as aMultiple Pregnancy Specialist Midwife.
This pivotal role involves leading, organising, and developing the multiple pregnancy service in collaboration with the fetal medicine team to provide high-quality, holistic, and personalised care for women expecting multiple pregnancies.
We are seeking a midwife who:
• Is committed to providing exceptional care for women expecting multiple pregnancies.
• Has proven experience in antenatal and postnatal care, and knowledge of the complexities of multiple pregnancies.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills to advocate for service users and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Is proactive in addressing health inequalities and removing barriers to accessing care.
• Has experience in quality improvement, audit, and service development.
• Embraces the recommendations fromBetter Births National Maternity Reviewand service user feedback to shape care pathways.

About the Role
As the Multiple Pregnancy Specialist Midwife, you will:
• Take a lead role in organising, delivering, monitoring, and developing the multiple pregnancy service.
• Ensure continuity of care during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods for women with multiple pregnancies.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, effective, and individualised care tailored to women’s medical, psychological, and social needs.
• Communicate complex information in a clear and compassionate way to service users and their families.
• Act as a care navigator, breaking down barriers to accessing timely antenatal care and guiding women through the appropriate pathways.
• Advocate for service users while safeguarding them and their families when appropriate.
• Lead on theTwins Trust Maternity Engagement Project, submitting annual figures and completing requested data.
• Complete annual audits for the multiple pregnancy service to ensure continued quality and improvement.
• Promote health and well-being through evidence-based education and parent education initiatives.
