They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to lead a unique and challenging part new build part refurb project on the Berkshire / Surrey borders.
The Project:
This exciting project involves a complex blend of part refurbishment and new build, transforming the property into a stunning contemporary residence. It will showcase exceptional design and meticulous attention to detail, demanding a skilled and dedicated Site Manager to deliver on our exacting standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all on-site operations, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently within budget and schedule.
2. Oversee the work of sub-contractors and ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and specifications.
3. Maintain a safe and secure working environment for all site personnel.
4. Proactively identify and resolve potential problems and delays, implementing effective solutions.
5. Liaise with the project architect, client, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
6. Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all aspects of the project.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's project management processes.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Site Manager in high-end residential construction.
2. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within budget and schedule.
3. Excellent knowledge of building regulations, health and safety protocols, and construction best practices.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and dedication to quality.
7. Experience in managing heritage and listed buildings is a significant advantage.
