The role is office based in a great location not far from the motorway junction with free parking.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage all aspects of one weekly and two monthly payrolls on Sage Payroll software.
* Enter hours and expenses maintaining payroll pay scales such that all payments are completed accurately and on-time.
* Complete relevant HMRC paperwork returns and ensure submitted within deadlines.
* Maintain nominal coding in automated interfaces from Sage Payroll into Sage 200.
* Participate in any projects to develop the payroll processes and database, taking a lead on identifying improvements and playing a key role in implementing any resultant changes.
* To keep abreast with the developments in Payroll rules and regulations and to contribute to their implementation.
* Ensure smooth closing of all weekly payroll ledgers.
* Monthly reconciliation of all payroll control accounts in line with Management Accounts Reporting Timetable.
* Ensure all deductions from wages are paid across to relevant bodies on time
