The Role The primary responsibility is to provide assistant to the onsite Commercial Team. Requirements Your new position will include but is not limited to: Support with the day-to-day administration of lower-tier subcontracts including the payments and application process. Support with estimating and change management cycle. Support with the day-to-day commercial functions including but not limited to; Estimating, identification and speedy response to EW’s, RFQ’s, Site Instructions, and any other contractual communications. Assist with the production and agreements of Interim Applications for payments. Assisting with forecasting requirements, including internal Monthly Cost to Value Reconciliation. Close liaison and provision of assistance to all operational and supporting staff to ensure overall effective management across the project. To support and maintain up to date risk registers, including quantification of risk. Support Quality and Health and Safety objectives Work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures and those of our client Work as part of a team to successfully achieve the aims and objectives of the Project and a company. Be confident and positive Be committed and enthusiastic Qualifications & Experience Requirements Experience within a mechanical setting would be beneficial Preferably Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or other relevant business discipline Non degree holders should have a demonstratable record of success within a similar role. Must have good verbal and written communication skills Excellent numeracy skills Use of Microsoft Office applications with High knowledge of Excel. Experience using contractual communication platforms is beneficial. Hold a Valid CSCS MAPS card or CCNSG Safety Passport Must be able to obtain the necessary clearance to work at Hinkley Point C Must be able to commute to their allocated park and ride facility / assigned bus stop on route.
