Arc Partnership is a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE, formed in 2016 to support the council in creating an efficient, safe, and sustainable land and property portfolio.

We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Construction Services Team and create a real impact by being the on-site lead for the safe and profitable delivery of Construction Services projects for Arc Partnership. You will manage and coordinate projects from start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed to time, quality, and within budget.
All our projects are based within the Nottinghamshire area, so your need to travel is limited to within the region.
Your new role:

* Ensure effective, safe, and profitable project delivery, while satisfying client and customer service demands at all times.
* Work with the Head of Delivery and the Operations Manager to develop a supply chain which is fit for purpose.
* Maximise the potential of Arc Construction Services in meeting the needs of the clients and customers it serves.
* Ensure that delivery teams work to and comply with all Arc Commercial Procedures and other Standing Orders.
* Manage and oversee the direction of the project, ensuring that the design and requirements are met, reviewing progress, and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
* Oversee day-to-day management of operations on-site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the programme, budget, and quality constraints.
* Plan and efficiently organise the site setup and logistics.
* Effectively communicate with the Design Team to ensure the timely release of design information.
* Coordinate the management of sub-contractor activities.
* Ensure workmanship and material standards are achieved in accordance with specifications, building regulations, health and safety legislation as well as quality standards.

* Proven experience of managing a project from start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed to time, quality, and within budget.
* Demonstrable experience of associated commercial processes for a project, including forecasting, change control, influencing to achieve value for money, and safe profitable delivery outcomes.
* Broad demonstrable knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
* You’ll have a basic understanding of sustainability in the workplace and be committed to support the business with its carbon reduction strategy.
