We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our client's Infrastructure Finance team in Nottingham. For local applicants, 3 days onsite and 2 days from home hybrid working will be offered. For applicants out of area, home working will be offered, with 1-2 days a month travel to Nottingham office required.
In this role, you will assist the Senior Finance Manager in managing financial reporting and management for complex infrastructure portfolios across multiple Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), focusing on renewable energy and low-carbon assets.
Your responsibilities will include the preparation and production of monthly management accounts, which will involve balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments. You will also be responsible for producing the quarterly consolidated accounts and managing the monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting. You will oversee monthly cash management, cash flow forecasting, and distribution management to ensure financial stability. Furthermore, you will assist in reviewing quarterly VAT returns and perform quarterly intercompany reconciliations.
As part of your duties, you will support the production of the annual budget and the preparation of statutory accounts in compliance with IFRS/FRS 102 reporting standards.
