We have an exciting opportunity to join our team based in our High Wycombe office. This role is primarily office based, but there may be the occasional need to visit site with our team if the need arises.
A typical day in this role will see you working 8-5 (Hours can be agreed) M-F in a fresh modern office environment with the most up to date technology. You will be supported day to day by the team and enjoy an environment where no 2 days are the same. We want you to make this role your own, improve the processes, tell us if you think it could be done better. Make your stamp and be supported by the Management Team as you go. Logistics and operations
* Communicating with suppliers by phone, online portal and email to place and change orders for our site-based activities. You love talking to people, it makes your day.
* Adjusting spreadsheets to capture correct costs information for orders and supplies, reconciling this information each day. You’re thorough and like to be organised.
* Record assets such as machinery and other stock to each job.
* Assist our site-based teams with updates on material deliveries and chase our suppliers for accurate updates. You can talk to people on all levels equally.
Compliance
* Checking that our site-based teams have submitted information daily to our portal through our app based systems.
* Help monitor our fleet of plant, machinery and vehicles as necessary.
Financial and administration
* Reconciling the purchase ledger to supplier statements and invoices, liaising with the Financial Director to ensure correct posting of invoices/costs against jobs. You like numbers and can find your way around a spreadsheet.
* Compile daily work sheets to ensure our work team attendances are recorded correctly ready for payroll by others.
Ideal Requirements:
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a small team and be a good communicator with a general understanding of computer-based systems, basic spreadsheets and email. You’ve got an eye for detail, and it excites you to complete tasks in full accurately. Complete training will be given for any other unique systems that we use internally. We pride ourselves on using modern software and applications whenever possible.
