Technical Author - Chertsey, Surrey Job Type: Full Time - Seasonal Location: Thorpe Park Resort, KT16 8PN Hours: Fixed-Term, Full Time Salary: £30k-35k About the Role: Thorpe Park Resort is on the lookout for a Technical Author to support our Engineering department in the development of our training literature for our ride engineers. You will work as part of our Technical Support Services Team to develop a suite of Engineering Codes of Safe Working Practice (ECoSWP’s) for each of our attractions, covering all maintenance and safety related aspects of attractions including Annual, Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance activities. Qualifications & Experience What we’re looking for: We are looking for a team member with proven experience as a Technical Author within an industrial / amusement operations setting. You will have meticulous attention to detail, self-discipline, prioritisation & multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work within agreed timeframes. You will use your proficiency in Microsoft Word to communicate safety & technical requirements clearly, utilising flow diagrams, technical drawings and tables as required to concisely inform your readers. This is a 12 months FTC.
