Job summary South Tyneside and Sunderland Speech and Language Therapy Service Childrens Team: 1.0 Post x B5, 37.5 hours per week We are delighted to be in a position to offer a full-time Post for a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist. You will work with Children across our service. The Post will suit newly-qualified Therapists or Therapists keen to expand their experience working with children. The Post will be predominantly based in South Tyneside although we work across our patch as one integrated team. We are working with agencies and service users across systems to really try and improve the Service to children with SLCN and SEND. This includes working with our Family Hubs, mainstream and specialist education settings, Local Authority and other health partners as well as commissioners. Main duties of the job You will have experience of working with children with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties, and be able to assess, plan and provide intervention and therapy within a range of settings.
